Hepatitis is actually inflamation of the liver. Hepatitis C is more spefically inflamation of the liver caused by the Hepatitis C virus. My point being is that the symptoms of hepatitis C are almost identical to many other causes of hepatitis, which are as follows:

- Malaise (generally feeling unwell)
- Nausea
- Loss of weight
- Jaundice
- Fever
- Anorexia (loss of appetitie)
- Abdominal pain
- Itching

You'll notice that a lot of these, are very non-specific and are similar to the symptoms brought on by other viral illnesses. It should also be noted that in actual fact 60 to 70% of people with hepatitis C have no symptoms

If the hepatitis continues to a severe state many of the functions of the liver can become compramised. For example issues with clotting (resulting in bruises or easy bleeding) or a decrease blood protein productions (resulting in excessive fluid accumulation around the body).

Hepatitis C has no ovious symptoms until it starts to damage your liver.
This can take tens of years.
Their are blood tests that will check for Hepatitis C.
Once the liver is damaged the Hepatitis C is rather advanced the patient will probably need a liver transplant.
Hepatitis C can be cured before liver damage occurs using anti viral medication.
Hepatitis c is not easy to contract requiring blood to blood transfer for infection.
Please see your doctor for medical advise.

Most people have no symptoms until the virus causes liver damage, which can take 10 or more years to happen. Others have one or more of the following symptoms:

- yellowish eyes and skin, called jaundice
- a longer than usual amount of time for bleeding to stop
- swollen stomach or ankles
- easy bruising
- tiredness
- upset stomach
- fever
- loss of appetite
- diarrhea
- light-colored stools
- dark yellow urine
