Corinne Mirkazemi is a practising hospital and community pharmacist with a passion for nutrition and health information. She is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Pharmacy, University of Tasmania where her research interests include vitamin B12 deficiency and the quality use of medications including drug utilisation evaluations, clinical pharmacy practices, and most recently, thromboprophylaxis following hip and knee arthroplasty and translating evidence into practice.

Arman Mirkazemi is a freelance software developer with exprience in web technologies and iPhone development. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Tasmania and currently is the principle engineer for Healthysparx.com.

It's more than likely that your question has been asked and answered previously, so please take a moment and search for your question on the site. If you're not satisfied with the search result then simply proceed to ask your question!

How do I ask a question?

Anyone is welcome to ask a question on Healthysparx so long as it is related to a health topic. To get started, simply sign in using your Twitter or Facebook account, then navigate to the top of your homepage to ask away. In order to give your question the best chance of getting multiple answers, we ask that you pay attention to the following:

  • The title of your submission must be an actual question, rather than just a statement or topic title. If it is not a question then we may tweak it or ask you to change it yourself
  • The description field allows you to add more detail to your question, but please keep it as short as possible
  • Include relevant topic names as keywords for your question

Who can see my question?

Since Healthysparx is an accessible website, it allows its content to be indexed by online search engines. This means that potentially anybody can see and answer your question. For example, you can expect to see comments if your question or answer requires clarification. You can then respond by either editing your original entry or respond with another comment. Responding promptly will help get you the best answers.

What is Healthysparx etiquette?

  • Be respectful of other people on Healthysparx and don't curse
